The Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio's new project is a reunion session with Yoshihiko Kannari, the sound engineer who revolutionized jazz sound in the 1970s as the exclusive sound engineer for the legendary Japanese jazz label Three Blind Mice! Expertly mastered and pressed at Sony Music Japan state of the art facility.

The recording technique, where the microphones of the instruments are taken to the limit of the sound source and one is willing to accept peaks, is still alive and well.

Mastering is the responsibility of Sony Music Studios, who have brought the TBM reissue series into the modern era with over 70 tracks since 2012 and are well versed in the sound of the series. The sound that emerges is a revival of those days with the maturity of half a century.
